is quite funny....then we played arcade at the mrt station
lingling and minghui joined us as well and clare left
played daytona, basketball,drums,bishibashi
each person paid 5 bucks
ate at carls junior...lol i ate one burger by myself
the charboiled santa fe chicken
also ate some of the fries
then went to play pool and went home
minghui gave me a christmas card and a present from taiwan

today was quite an interesting day
did some maths problems before leaving the house at 1130
went to book tickets for twilight first in plaza sing
got the second row from the back
then went to marina square
reached around 1220
walked a few rounds round the same shops
contemplating what to buy for ppls xmas presents
got bored after 30 min
then booked tickets for ip man
i think is quite a nice show
to me it is the best show that ive watched this year
then went to eat waraku
bought some 9.99 set lunch
bought two boxes of chocs
one for yuzhe and one for munwee
after watching twilight went to old airport road to eat
cos too crowded at plaza
i ate chee cheong fun and soon kueh
then took bus home
think tmr i will study more cos im alr feeling very contented going out

hey im back from youth camp
was at boys brigade HQ

morning had sermons and worship
first day we learnt that God works through us
and whenever there are victories it is not due to us, but to Him
and that our relationship with God should be friend,teacher,saviour and Lord
second day we learnt to be still in the Lord
in the fast paced and restless world we will be always addicted to something
third day we learnt about legend and legacy and i-livng and u-living

then aftenoon had games
first day played games that were super similar to orientation games
second day was to build a structure but ppl can destroy it
third day was the food race, something like amazing race
took bus to certain hawker centres to complete the task
haha my group was taking our time to walk and eat
not as kanchiong as other groups
as expected our group came in last cos we were taking our own sweet time
then went back and had to eat some army rations

night we had workshops and games
first night was about hosts and guests
how we should learn to be like hosts and initiate, provide, direct and commuincate
second night learnt about pyrrhic victories
that sometimes we may be able to win something but what we lose is much more than that
first night games was some quizes
second night games was a murder mystery where we were given clues and asked to find out who the murderer is
the story is from some anime series...forgot the title

thats about it
oh ya and the last night of the camp i was playing bridge until 6am lol
and the bed not nice to sleep on...i rather sleep in sleeping bags but nvm lol

maybe later im gonna do maths...
i left about 3 questions in the complusory homework and the whole set of the optional homework
hopefully can finish by next week

last week i went to malaysia with my cousins and ahma
went to genting, kl and malacca
in genting we played in the outdoor theme park and the arcade
cos everyone except me and genice went to casino
i think we spent 160 ringgit in the arcade
in kl twe went to shop and eat

today went to bird park and shopping malls with genice and serena
zzz the bus ride there took so long
should have taken train instead
ate macs for breakfast

but they have so little chocolates...then i bought 100g of it

just walk walk there, never watch movie
hmm dd wanted to do the painting thing(the put in the oven one)

watched madagascar 2...quite nice i think
we played in arcade and also went to the book fair and food fair

like otters,lions,elephants, polar bears etc

anw my group received this letter inviting us to a sharing session for the j1s next year
haha it states that" your group has been approaching project work in a postive manner"

i think they randomly select the groups just that wanna make it sound nice only

i think i only started liking pw when we started preparing for op
and it was the op that really bonded us together
still can remember the fun times we had will practicing
jokes, food in clare house, secrets we told each other, dinners,punggol nasi lemak etc
it is only at this end point that we got to know each other much better
how hard we practiced for op...
im sure its much more than any other group...we meet almost everyday to practice and talk crap
i know our wr wasnt very well done
many parts could have been improved..

im sure if we had cooperated together for wr, it would have been of a much higher quality

is a touch screen phone

my birthday just passed on thurs
it was quite a fulfilling day
had the last slv in the childcare centre
the children there are damn cute and fun to play with

supposed to be 4 but then two thursdays got oral and listening comprehension

he wrote to most of my classmates too
i still have that paper in my wallet...haha

and on wed we went to eat ajisen

on fri i went for a tcm talk
mianly talked about acupuncture and chinese herbs
after that i went pp to buy shoes
wanted to buy from royal sporting house cos they have different brands
but then it was closed cos of a makeover for the shop
so in the end went to adidas instead..wanted to go to isetan but decided not to
cos the shoes in isetan are old models somemore about the same price
so went to adidas instead
bought a pair of white plus little bit of purple shoes
cost 92 bucks... pity there was no offer
before that met dd and her friends in pp
and we ate ajisen again
then went home went for the massage then slept at about 8
yay next week is fast approaching

i think i will start studying for it in 2 weeks time
cos for these kind of major exams i usually start studying 1 month before
but i dont think i can study as much as i did for mid years
cos for a simple reason that there 4 weeks before midyears were holidays
whereas the 4 weeks before promos only 1 week is a holiday plus a few study breaks
adding to the fact that there are more chapters to study for promos
nvm i will continue to work hard and hopefully can do as well as midyears

haha didnt expect to pass my econs
oh ya i think i got 2nd in class for econsand my friend from another class who is also taught by him say that thier class only 1 person pass
my class got 10 ppl pass
first time i pass my essay
kena surprised la....
but my case study was quite disappointing
cos i dont understand what ans they want
case study was always my stronger one
nvm they joy of getting 32/50 for essay is far greater than the sort of disappointment in getting
14/30 for case study
haha i will try to improve my econs
oh ya im thinking of whether i should take H3 anot
but most probably not cos i think the 4 H2s are enough
unless i am convinced that H3 has more pros than cons or if my parents force me too which is not so likely
the main reason why i dont wanna take H3 is because i dont think i can handle the stress

anyway today had bbq and games at ecp
organised by the 17 year olds of orpc
after like 1 month so of planning the day finally arrived
me and elson and elizabeth went to ecp to sort of book the place
woke up at like 7am today
haha the turnout was quite good, better than i expected
i think about 30 plus, including the young adults
yup so they played 5 games, 2 of them were prepared by me
could tell that the youths enjoyed themselves a lot
our hard work had paid off
just seeing the smiles on the youths faces brings joy to me
and im sure to the other 17year olds as well
but too bad i had to leave at 1.30 because my sis and i had tuition
yup brought one packet of bee hoon which had 10 persons portion home
cos they ordered too much food
thank God for the good weather He has given to us
thank God that the games and the bbq were a success
thank God that the youths enjoyed themselves
thank God for the fellowship together
nothing would be possible without Him

the june holidays have started and this is like the first week
most of the time i am at home studying
except a few hours of watching french open and using comp
and went out with veron and dd yesterday
to cineleisure to watch made of honour
this dd got lost while taking 36 to cine...
anw made of honour was quite nice
but i think what happened in vegas is nicer
hope next week can go out again
maybe watch movie or go beach or some other places to slack
cos if not i will just stay at home and study
and studying for too long makes me bored and stressed

i was on lights duty for pa

finally we have decided on our idea for pw
its his idea- access card in cars
cos he thinks all our ideas are weak or alr in place
i have been so stressed about pw that i have been thinking about it every single day
and in one week i have dreamt about pw 3 times
and i usually cannot concentrate on other stuuf that im doing
also we had to our gpp in 2 days
or less than that- a few hours
during those 2 days, i reached home at about 8 plus
the others were also quite busy
so in the end i did gpp for 7h including compilation
and writing the bibliography took me 0.5hr
in the end we did a 5 page long gpp for him
i think we still can improve alot on our gpp cos is sort of last minute work

finally chem and physics spa are over
next week i have oral
hopefully i wont be too nervous

all of them due to stuff in school
i feel very ugh
dont feel like writing them out here
nowadays i dont look foward to school
unlike secondary school and first few months of jc
some of my friends feel the same too

thats why sometimes cannot trust him totally

now almost everybody knows
and i dont like my chem teacher
although she knows the contents well
i think she got attitiude problem
she always say wheres your cow sense and whatever nonsense

my friend say she is also a tuition teacher
but in tuition she treats her students well
i think my ct is damn funny sometimes when he talks crap
today got ct session
then we were supposed to write a letter to our parents
then after a short while my friend was doing maths
he say "your maths more impt than your parents is it"
ater he saw that she was doing maxima and minima
then he say aiya no need to do one la...dy/dx only
aiya he likes to talk crap
although if you never do homework he will get angry
and then he wll threaten to send ppl out

woohoo just finished the parts that i needed to do for gpp
i did the aims, choice of topic and reasons for choice of topic
my pw group consist of dongmin,chenke,jonathan,clare,me
and for each person do different parts of the gpp
so we can just combine and edit together and pass up
anyway it is just the first draft
yesterday went to watch definitely maybe with yuzhe
cos is his birthday then he ask me go watch movie with him
he waited around 2hrs for me cos my lesson ended at 4 something
so i reached suntec at around 5
just in time for the movie
the movie was not really very nice
and i sort of ate popcorn for dinner
then after the movie i had to go alr cos i was going for drama night
otherwise could have eaten dinner with him
at first we wanted to take bus 36 there but then my papa can fetch
oh ya when i paid him back the money for the movie ticket he a bit sad
cos he say no need to return him the money but then i took out alr
hmm... at first when we were at the ticket counter
i said i wanna treat him movie ticket for his birthday
but then he said nvm then he pay
then so i bought popcorn for us to share
my father fetched me back to vj then shun bian fetched him to his friends house near vs
hmm i feel guilty for him waiting so long for me and then spending so little time with him
and nvere buy for him his birthday present
cos he only asked me on thurs night

anyway the drama concert was not bad
haha i dont really like the first play cos i only can understand a bit
is about the fall of troy and the kings and queens
the second third and fourth plays were not bad
it ended quite late at around 11

hi i am back to update on whats happening in my life
been quite busy the past week
cos of chem and chinese test
and helping out in the science quest to set up the stuff
and there was some principal-parents session on on sat
i think it was a waste of time listening
almost all the stuff he say i heard before alr
could have done something more productive at home
anw theres one chem teacher in vj who is teaching entropy
he is sort of creepy
i think he sorts of know one class very well even though he is not teaching that class
like " the dunman high sch girl in volleyball" and " the boy in the second row who is in dance"
then he continue" even though i know there is a girl in the second row also in dance"
even that class also stunned la...they say hes gay
anyway theres econs essay test and chem e assesment happening next week
and spa is coming soon
i am damn scared esp for the physics one
i hope pendulum comes out cos i quite used to the expt alr
and man u is playing arsenal later

hey im back
after not blogging for one week
cos last sat and sun i was sick
then on weekdays have lots of homework
like gp essay and econs case study and other less important homework
anyway i just finished my second draft of PI
which took about say 1 hr...lol so long
on sat vjc hosted the YOG discussion on olympism
and the ioc president, mr jacques rogge and other important ppl were present
i was doing pa duty in the hall where the pri school kids were playing games and stuff
just set up one mic and control the volume only
after that went to the pt control room where students asked questions to the impt ppl
it was quite short
then after that we kept the stuff then learnt about condenser mics
then went astons with some pa members
oh ya i didnt study on fri and sat
cos fri i slept at 630pm then when i woke up it was 2am so i decided to sleep all the way
yup so today i studied bonding which took at least 3hrs
cos got small class test tmr
and atmoic structure also.but i never study that one....i think just go through the notes can le
cos of time constraints
anyway it is 1220am now and i think i shall sleep now

i did it for four times before i got full marks
and i dunno what is momentum and torque
i think i found out that they are vectors
i got back my maths paper

we had jts on thurs kenny rogers
total bill is like $530 for 33 ppl
me and amby treated 2 seniors
total cost $50.20 for our table
then went to esplanade to stone

and tues went out to eat carls junior at fae east with some of my friends
cos aaron wanted to cut his hair
three of us shared 2burgers and fires and drink
then went to plaza sing
reached home at about 8 plus and i slept at about 9pm
so early haha

next i realise that vj teachers arrange the test papers in order of merit when they return them
its ok if your test paper is at the top
but if its somewhere at the bottom then its quite embarrassing
maybe this is to motivate students to study hard so they will do well
for the chem test i think my marks were slightly below average
cos i changed my correct ans to the wrong one
cos my teacher wrote the question wrongly
then for the econs case study test i got second in class
which is 11/20
the first in class got 13/20
ha when you look at the ans is like damn easy like that
aiya actually its true for almost every test paper

thirdly i went to batam today
this is the second time i went there
so in the morning we left at around 11am and reached there around 12
then bought some keropok and stuff then ate seafood lunch
the lunch is not really very nice
anyway i think the thigns there are damn cheap
i almsot wanted to buy the whole box of chocolates since one kitkat in singapore cost 1 something then there can buy for 50 cents only
oh there is one bridge in batam that looks like the san fransico bridge
i think it combines another island to batam
then we went to a temple there
but i did not go in just stay outside talk to my yiyi
we only had about 45 min to shop in the shopping centre
thats so little time
we went to the supermarket to buy stuff
and i bought a lot of instant mee goreng
actually if got one whole box of it i sure buy one
but i think only the shop upstiars sell so i just put as many packets as possible into the basket
then went to buy sports shoes for my meimei
actually i wanted to buy the reebok one but then no discount so we bought the spalding one
which is about $27 cos got 40 per cent discount
actually the reebok one which cost $60 is cheap compared to singapore
it also looks nicer
then we took a ferry back

anyway before we went to batam my mother wanted to go to the m1 shop to pass them he$120 bill rebate letter
cos tpday was the expiry date of the promotion
then because the m1 shop was closed at that time so she just stuffed the letter through the small hole in the door into the shop
then because she scared that ppl can see her ic and handphone number
so she used my yiyi's envelope to cover it
haha the way that she try to put the envelope in damn funny

whee i just came back about 1.5hours ago
cos got maths test until 5.30
hmm the standard of the paper is more than average
maybe like our amaths prelim last year
luckily i could do all the questions except one part of a question
the log one
cos i dunno how to make log(2-squareroot2) into 1-log(2+sqaureroot2)
but now i know alr
my first instinct was correct but then i thought is wrong
so i never write
so today during gp lesson the class was sort of talking about a gp question
women who seek to be like men lack ambition
obviously the quote was written by a feminist
and it means that women should be much better than men
but i think that women and men are equal
women are good at certain things and men are good at others
there is a stigma attached to women that they are usually not as good as men
cos of various reasons
although most of the world's political figures are men,
i hope that this will change in the future
i think that men and women have the same capabiilities
except that women usually sacrifice themselves to be housewives
gender should not be an issue when choosing workers except those that require immense physical strength

ok so the pa camp is over
we mainly learnt about how to use the equipment
in the hall, performance theatre and outdoor sound system
the lights in the pt is damn cool
on the stage there are a total of 60 lights and they can be controlled using the com
and the spotlight thing is damn heavy
i think at least 5kg
lol we slept in the classrooms
i think we slept at about 1am
cos we were playing cards and the seniors were playing mahjong
they slept at 3-4plus i think
the teachers in charge of pa are mr kwok, mr ueng and mr bizmar
mr kwok is the teacher that teach maths damn fast one
we have come to the conclusion that he is too smart to teach maths
thats why his working skip a lot of steps one
and i think most of the ppl dont understand what hes teaching
at least differentiation i slowly understand
the examples are quite self explanatory
but the malcurin series thing the last lecture i was just blindly copying
cos he teach too fast that if i listen i wont even have time to copy
maybe next time then i try to understand
oh ya i am going for tcm message for my back
cos got one chinese doctor near my house at city plaza
so very convenient
my mummy doesnt want me to go for the operation
cos she say is too dangerous
and she dont like them to put metal things in my body
so if the message can help improve then i wont go for the operation

today went to munchy donuts for a bit of training
cos biz club is selling donuts every week in vj i think

nowadays i keep seeing teachers on the bus
like on tues i saw mr daniel tan and last week i saw ms seah
and another malay teacher from tkgs
ohya and obviously i failed my napfa mock test
cos i cant do 8 pullups
and i dont have motivation to run
lol dunno why
only if everybody run together then i can perform at my best
anyway i think im going for spine surgery on 16 may

went to the doctor at sgh today

the surgery damn ex
the inserting of screws and rods in the spine is about 8000-10000
and then i need to stay in the hospital for about 6 days
then staying there is depending on the class of the hospitals
theres a big diff between b2 and b1
b2 is 3000 plus and b1 is like 1500o plus
obviously you get better treatment in b1
cos b1 you can choose the doctor and b2 is maybe the team of doctors under the doc do
but the doctor still supervise
and b1 can have your own room and b2 is six beds in one room
lol i remember last time mrs hoy stay in one room with toilets and all that
and my parents are considering either b1 or b2
cos if some unexperienced doc do then is more dangerous
if something goes wrong it can lead to death or paralysis
but im not scared now maybe next time i will be scared
and i will be missing four days of school(the week before jun hols)

merge 4 sub groups
so we were the last yesterday
a lot of ogs from other groups only 2 members play the games
learnt mass dance once again and now i am more familiarised with the steps
and cheering too...is fun if you are enthu
so today we played wet games...like lying down and throw up the water bomb to your og mate
most games is riders against rangers
although most ppl who came were ogls
i still find it more fun cos i was more enthu during 02 than o1
tmr lessons start alr
dont think my class will have any new ppl cos my class alr have 27 ppl
and i think all of them can stay cos only 2 never get psoted back but i think their appeals were succesful..

the four day break for cny passed in a flash
this year i collected $460, comparable to the previous years
and oh ya my chinese teacher also gave us $2 ang bao and some chocolates
and i gambled a lot too
i won 6 bucks on the last day
cos i bet $2 each time
and when jeremy said that got one time his friend bet $100 then got blackjack
his house is damn big
have one swimming pool and is beside the church
and the pool faces the pastors office.lol

today school was normal

my chem teacher said that there is a test after the second intake comes
i hope there are more tests

yesterday(sun) i was super busy

then at 1130 i took mrt ot my cousins house in yishun

today was cny celebrations in vj...
first was the concert which included the lion dance and prize presentation
then we went to set up our stalls
yup before we even set up our stall this chinese teacher came and asked how much the jelly cost
i didnt know the price because i didnt expect that people would buy the whole box
then i just say one box cost $4
the jelly has lychee or nata de coco inside
i made 60 jellies yesterday...
quite fun making...haha
the powder was damn ex because it included the flavour and coluring
last time i make dont have one
then we left more wafer sticks to sell..
chocolate and blueberry flavoured..
managed to sell all in the end

then me and dd went to kfc
i ate popcorn chicken and cheese fries and pepsi

7 ppl, including the 3 ogls, went
actually ck wanted to go also, but he suddenly had appointment
oh ya we saw two vj teachers there too, mr yong and ms ng
and they were talking about ghost stories there
haha some damn funny
oh ya the ogls also gave us the letters they wrote for us

after the long long anticipation
could not wait for 2 o clock to come
so i got 7 points
got a1 for chem,bio,maths,amaths,physics and combined humans
and a2 for english and chinese
oh ya and when i saw my name on that 6a1 paper i was damn relieved and happy
and the class celebrated by buying canadian pizza
i ate one slice

next went out with dd.jac.grace.sherlyn and charmaine to tampines mall
watched the mist at 7.05pm
dd did not like the ending
but i think the story is not bad...
i still dont understand why it is NC16
oh ya and the cast used many vulgarities
ate pepper lunch at food junction in century square before that
i ate the chicken and salmon one
cost 9 bucks

there is no school tmr...
haiz i wished there would be sch tmr
studying is fun and is the best way to spend time

or else i will be so bored at home

other than steven g and torres nobody in liverpool is that good
that they are in a debt

but when they argue that time very funny
then clare said that manu players are dirty
and something about their christmas party
then my teacher was like saying they earn a lot of money(about s$300000 a week)
so of cos they will go party

and my teacher talks in a very casual way even during econs lesson
i think he is about 26 years old and he told us about his life story last month

and i dunno what is full day still

so life in vjc is normal
except there are quite a number of breaks
which caused me to spend lots of money
like last week i spend about $80
on food,lecture notes and other stuff

in jc there is lecture and tutorial system
but whats unique in vj is that they teach two chapters concurrently
for example if there are two lectures that week
there will be two different teachers to teach two different topics
so weird
i take Physics Chem Econs Maths
so today there was this chem practical
and the teacher was sort of irrritated with our class
luckily i never do anything wrongly

my class has 25 ppl
quite bonded i must say
today went for biz club welcome tea party
maybe i am going biz club
cos is quite fun being entrepreneurs
and the present president of the club was also from tkgs
and she was telling me and katherine about some of the teachers

i am scared about o level results

haha these few days of orientation has been fun
my group is OSIRIS and sub group is onepiece
haha made some friends
first day not so enthu because I dont really know the ppl there yet
on the third day of orientation was wet games
and for one of the games i was asked to blindfold myself and made orange juice
using orange,sugar and water
my group members gave me instructions and i followed
I was supposed to make two cups of orange juice

for three consecutive days i have been coming home late
first two days is 10.30pm then today is 11.30pm
cos we went for dinner and played many games
haha fun fun
first time went to suntec sky garden second went to thaipan and third went to swensens in suntec
wah quite a lot of them stay until very late(especially the J2s)
if i go home when all of them go home then i will reach home at about 1am
luckily my mother never scold
if i go out with dd and veron and other friends she surely wont let me come home so late
cos now im going with the vj ppl and i need to bond with them
